Daily Incident Log

Hampshire College Campus Safety and Wellbeing publishes this crime and fire summary log to keep the College community informed about campus safety. This log is maintained in compliance with the Clery Act, which mandates that the College publish information about reported crimes within the campus safety and wellbeing department's jurisdiction and on the College's on-campus, residential facilities, non-campus, and public property, as defined by the Act. 

This log is maintained for 90 days and may also be inspected in the Campus Safety and Wellbeing Office located on the ground floor of the Harold Johnson Library Monday–Friday 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m. For questions about daily logs, you can reach out to us at csw@hampshire.edu or give us a call at 413.559.5424. The College may temporarily withhold information in some cases if there is clear and convincing evidence that the release of information would:

• Jeopardize an ongoing investigation
• Jeopardize the safety of an individual
• Cause a suspect to flee or evade detection
• Result in the destruction of evidence.

Information will be disclosed once the adverse effect is no longer likely to occur.
