The Kay Johnson Fund for the study of China and the Chinese Diaspora
This fund is dedicated to supporting activities both on campus and abroad that advance the study of China and the Chinese Diaspora — areas of deep importance to Kay Johnson, Professor of Asian Studies and political science. Potential activities include (but are not limited to):
- Study abroad and student driven research projects and internships
- Programs and courses related to China, Chinese language, culture, and history, and the Chinese Diaspora
- Sponsorship of visiting scholars and artists in residency
- Conferences, lectures, performances and other on-campus events
- Travel and related expenses that support the programming mentioned above
