Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee

The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) is a self-regulating entity that, according to U.S. federal law, must be established by institutions that use laboratory animals for research or instructional purposes to oversee and evaluate all aspects of the institution's animal care and use program.

If you are engaging in a research project that uses animals, you must submit for approval to the Hampshire College IACUC. Below you will find pdf and word document copies of the proposal cover sheet and proposal form to fill out and submit for review. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.
