The Hampshire College Art Gallery has been in operation since the College opened in 1970. The gallery functions primarily as an exhibition space concentrating on, but not limited to, the visual arts. First and foremost, the mission of the gallery is to support the teaching functions of the College.

A core component of our exhibition program are Division III student exhibitions. The Gallery supports students as they develop and plan these installations.
We are located on the ground floor of the Harold F. Johnson Library Center, at the center of the campus, with convenient parking and an accessible entrance.
