Bell Ringing Celebration
Friday, May 14, 2021 at 3 p.m. EDT
Graduates lined up and processed across campus to Harold Johnson Library where the president and the dean of faculty gave remarks, followed by the announcement of each graduate’s name. As their name was read, each student proceeded onto the stage to pick up a prop diploma and have their picture taken. Each graduate then rang the Div-Free Bell once, picked up their personal commencement bell, and headed to the library lawn while the celebration continued. Once all graduates in attendance had been recognized, they rang their personal bells together and gathered for a group picture.
Students, staff, and faculty who are part of the on-campus testing program were invited to participate, as well as fall graduates and spring graduates studying remotely.
