Serving on United Way Board

Hampshire’s Chief Diversity Officer Diana Fernandez has accepted an invitation to serve on the board of directors for the United Way of the Pioneer Valley.

Fernandez has been active with the United Way for several years, including roles as a member of the organization’s community review board, and as a Five College representative for the organization.

“My first reaction was that I was humbled. It’s such an honor, especially having seen the work of the United Way and the impact on the community. I am excited to the have the opportunity to work with an organization that works to holistically support Hampshire County residents. This is quite the invitation,” Fernandez says.
