Hirshberg is co-founder, chairman, and former president and CEO of the organic yogurt producer Stonyfield Farm. In 1983, Hirshberg and co-founder Samuel Kaymen started putting their farm’s seven cows to work making yogurt. They showed the world that a company could make healthy, delicious food without relying on toxic chemicals that harm the environment and public health.
