Actress Nyong’o has received many awards, including an Academy Award for her performance in 12 Years a Slave, as well as two Screen Actors Guild Awards, four NAACP Image Awards, and a Daytime Emmy Award. Other credits include Black Panther, the Star Wars sequel trilogy, Jordan Peele’s horror film Us, and the Broadway play Eclipsed.
