Hampshire College does not discriminate and prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, marital status, national origin, mental or physical disability, political belief or affiliation, veteran status, sexual orientation, sex stereotypes, sex characteristics, gender, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, pregnancy or related conditions, or any other class of individuals protected from discrimination under state or federal law in any of its educational programs and activities, in employment and application for employment, and in admission and application of admission as required by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and its implementing regulations (34 C.F.R. Part 106.9), the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, and Executive Order 11246 of 1965, as amended by Executive Order 11357 of 1967, and other federal and state laws that prohibit discrimination. Hampshire College prohibits harassment of students, employees, and third parties on the basis of protected class, including racial harassment, sexual harassment, and gender-based harassment. Hampshire College also prohibits retaliation for filing good faith complaints of discrimination or harassment.
