Miriam "Meem" (they/ them) 17F graduated from Hampshire in 2021. For fun, they are a clown and a musician who makes performances about uncertainty, wonder, disruption, failure, and tenderness. Meem's music is punk-adjacent folk.
They live in Amherst with a few exceptional roommates and a gaggle of very extroverted chickens. They credit the Hampshire community with making them "a much weirder and much more resilient as a person." Meem is excited to work with the children at the ELC — the real experts in play and becoming, and some of the most poetic clowns they know.
