Rose Cherneff
Vegetable Production Manager
Rose Cherneff (they/them) is a farmer and educator devoted to building connections between the past and the future through growing food, caring for the earth, and building community.
Rose got their start farming at The Food Project where they learned that our food system is strongest when diverse groups of people come together to solve our world’s most pressing challenges. From there, Rose went on to spend over a decade working on a variety of production and educational farms growing vegetables and native perennials, and raising animals, while using tractors, horses, hand-power, and Jewish ancestral practices to make it happen.
Currently, Rose is loving learning everything they can about no-till farming techniques, soil science, seed saving, and the pursuit of growing the perfect carrot.
