Tensel Escobar

Tensel Escobar (she/her) is from Tibet. Tensel fled to India at the age of nine in 2001, fleeing political unrest in Tibet that had raged on since 1959.

Her parents gave up their lives to give her the opportunity to see the world through education. In Mussoorie, India, Tensel attended Tibetan Homes School (a Tibetan traditional school). She has been caring for children since she was in her early teens and has learned how to care for children of all ages via practice.
