Outdoor Leadership

Developing outdoor leadership skills and opportunities is an OPRA programmatic goal. In addition to offering a semester-long Outdoor Leadership course, OPRA offers opportunities for qualified students to lead outdoor-based orientation trips, weekend camping trips, and winter and spring break wilderness trips. For example, one student's Division III was to develop and teach a writing and wilderness skills curriculum during an expedition to the Grand Canyon.
