Hampshire Alum Elizabeth Brundage’s Newest Book Named a Must-Read for July by “The Today Show”

Hampshire alum and author Elizabeth Brundage 78F’s newest book, The Vanishing Point, was recently named a must-read for July by The Today Show. The book was one of five selected by bestselling author Harlan Coben.
Brundage is the author of four previous novels, including All Things Cease to Appear, which was a Wall Street Journal best mystery of 2016, and was the basis for the Netflix film Things Heard and Seen.
Brundage received a B.A. from Hampshire College and an M.F.A. from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times Book Review, Witness, New Letters, Greensboro Review, and more.
Brundage says of her Hampshire experience: “Hampshire encourages students to find their voices and not be afraid to make some noise. As a graduate, you are not defined by your diploma, but rather by your voice, intelligence, compassion, devotion, energy, integrity, ambition, confidence, and power. I honestly believe I wouldn't have become the sort of writer I am, writing stories about social issues, if I had not gone to Hampshire.”
